Mike_Bracken on the Radio and at My Space!
If you're in the Washington DC area you can catch me weekly on the Big O and Dukes Radio show every Friday afternoon at 2PM EST. If you're not in the DC area, you can listen live from the WJFK website. I do a weekly segment talking about the week's new movie releases. The station is 106.7 WJFK FM.
And, at long last I actually got a MySpace account. Swing by and say hi.

Mike_Bracken Invades Canada!
At long last, deprived Canadian citizens can see me on Beat the Geeks. Word has it the show is airing on some Comedy network in the great white north, although I have no clue what it is, or when my shows will be on.

More than you probably ever wanted to know about Mike_Bracken
Mike Bracken is a 34-year-old writer/bohemian living in Oakland, California with his wife. He recently relocated after spending 14 years in the Tampa, Florida area (also known as "God's waiting room".) He attended the University of South Florida, where he studied English Lit, Film Theory, and Screenwriting.
His interests are: Italian gore films (or any horror film in general.) Existential and Nihilistic philosophy, horror fiction, the life and times of the Marquis de Sade, the books of Albert Camus, Brian Hodge, and Bret Easton Ellis (amongst others too numerous to name), the poetry of Galway Kinnell, Hong Kong action films (especially if Chow Yun Fat or Anthony Wong is in them), Samurai cinema, Japanese sword making, the NHL (the Pittsburgh Penguins in particular), surfing the net, and old school hip-hop.
Things that annoy him are: Earthquakes, Puritans, hyper people, the self-righteous, repeatedly explaining things to the terminally stupid, repeating himself, the Philadelphia Flyers (Lindros might be gone, but I still hate the Flyers), New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, the cancellation of Mystery Science Theater 3000 by the Sci-Fi Channel, people who think Day of the Dead is better than Dawn of the Dead, and kids who think 90's horror films "rule".
He's had fiction and poetry published in Frightnet, Crossroads, 69 Flavors of Paranoia, Deadbolt, and Altered Perceptions. He's also written film, book, game, and music reviews for various print and online publications.
